About this art: The piece before this one reminded me of one of my favorite words, “petrichor”, the sweet and fresh smell that comes from the plants when it rains for the first time after a long period of drought. Petrichor is calming, sweet, all-consuming, and, maybe most disappointingly, fleeting.
About Sarah Biette: I’m currently a junior at Indiana University studying Gender Studies and International Studies with minors in Human Sexuality and German. In my free time I enjoy swing dancing, performing with the improv group Midnight Snack Comedy, writing, singing, and playing guitar. I like to make things for fun, and I hope that my creations can make people smile for a little while!
