About this art: The piece I received is the backing track to this work. I heard the atmospheric synths and immediately thought: Timelapses! Turns out, that it's hard to get a ton of timelapses when you're quarantined, so I just started walking around the neighborhood looking for things to inspire myself. I ended up with a couple of visual motifs which I think work. The red light, the skull, the pocketwatch, and the graves are all morbid, juxtaposed with shots of nature and water, was supposed to be evocative of the current situation. Nature outside our windows, death on our minds. The couple are from another music video I shot last September in Scotland (but never finished) and I utilized a number of B-roll shots from my trip there.
