About this art: “En Primavera” was inspired by creatively decorated cookies iced with watercolor-like drippings of blue and purple evoking a sense of seeds springing up from the earth, “En Primavera '' tries to show, through found objects, the rebirth of nature in Spring. The flower-like shapes made from popsicle sticks and toothpicks show blossoms at various stages. The eggs hold the miracle of what will emerge in a not so distant future. The Earth awaits the coming of Spring as the process begins once again. Photographing the structures in a natural setting adds a sparse spring habitat to the structures.
